Student Conduct  Policy

The following information is provided to ensure that students of the academy understand our policy in relation to the conduct of students.

Students are advised to read this document carefully prior to booking courses with us and ensure that they understand the information provided. What’s In This Policy? This policy tells you the rules associated with booking courses whether by using the website, social media communication such as WhatsApp, Messenger, Text or Facebook or over the phone. 1. Purpose Cavendish Aesthetics Academy is committed to providing a professional, respectful, and supportive learning environment for all students, trainers, and staff. This Code of Conduct outlines the standards of behaviour expected from every student while attending the Academy, participating in online learning, or representing the Academy in any capacity. 2. Professional Behaviour Students are expected to: Conduct themselves in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner at all times. Treat all staff, trainers, models, and fellow students with dignity and respect, regardless of background, ethnicity, race, religion, experience, or skill level. Communicate politely and appropriately, both verbally and in writing. Avoid any form of abusive, obscenity, threatening, or intimidating or discriminatory behaviour or language. Maintain confidentiality regarding client or model information and respect others’ privacy. 3. Learning Environment Policy Cavendish Aesthetics Academy is dedicated to maintaining a safe, respectful, and professional learning environment for all students, trainers, models, and staff. Every individual has the right to train and work in an atmosphere that is supportive, inclusive, and free from disruption or distress. Students are therefore expected to conduct themselves in a manner that upholds this standard at all times. Any behaviour that interferes with or undermines the training experience of others will not be tolerated. This includes (but is not limited to): The use of aggressive, obscene, or intimidating language or behaviour. Actions that cause distress, discomfort, or anxiety to staff, trainers, or fellow students. Conduct that disrupts, interrupts, or otherwise compromises the delivery or quality of training sessions. Any behaviour that damages the professional reputation or safe atmosphere of the Academy. Where a student’s behaviour is deemed to have or has been reported to have negatively affected the learning environment or the experience of others, the Academy reserves the right to take appropriate action. This may include: A formal warning; Suspension from training; or Permanent withdrawal from the course without refund. The Academy’s primary responsibility is to protect the wellbeing and learning experience of all participants and to ensure that training is delivered in a professional, respectful, and supportive setting. 4. Attendance and Participation Students must arrive on time for all scheduled training sessions. Students must comply with the dress code requested by the academy. NHS staff must not wear uniforms or identity badges or any other form of dress code associated with the NHS Trust and must comply with regulations in this regard. Full attendance is required for both theory and practical components unless prior notice and approval have been given. Students should actively participate in all aspects of the course and follow trainer guidance precisely throughout. Any absence or lateness may affect certification eligibility. 5. Health, Safety, and Conduct on Premises Students must comply with all health and safety procedures, including infection control and sharps disposal protocols. Smoking, vaping, alcohol, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited on academy premises. Students must behave responsibly and respectfully at all times within the academy, including communal areas, car parks and reception areas. Aggressive, reckless, or dangerous behaviour (including driving at unsafe speeds on site) will not be tolerated. Any student causing harm or distress to staff, clients, or fellow students will be asked to leave the premises immediately. 6. Academic Integrity All submitted work must be the student’s own. Cheating, plagiarism, use of artificial intelligence or falsification of records will result in disciplinary action and may include exclusion form current and future training. Students are prohibited from sharing or distributing Cavendish Aesthetics Academy course materials, manuals, or intellectual property without prior written permission from the Director. 7. Respect for Academy Property Students must take reasonable care of all academy property and equipment. Any damage or loss caused by negligence or misuse may result in charges or disciplinary action. All products and materials provided remain the property of the academy unless otherwise specified. 8. Social Media and Professional Representation Students are prohibited from posting negative, defamatory, or misleading comments about the Academy, its trainers, or other students on social media or any public platform. Any social media content relating to the Academy should be respectful and uphold the integrity and professional image of the academy, its staff and representatives. Breaches may result in removal from courses and legal action where reputational damage may occur as a result of such activity. 9. Communication & Support Group Policy. Cavendish Aesthetics Academy provides access to certain online communication and support groups (for example, WhatsApp or other private messaging platforms) as a courtesy to assist students with guidance, networking, and peer support during their training. Participation in these groups is a privilege extended to active students only and is subject to the same professional standards outlined in the Student Code of Conduct. Students must: Communicate respectfully and professionally at all times. Use group chats solely for training-related discussion and not for complaints, personal disputes, or the sharing of inappropriate material. Respect the confidentiality and privacy of all members. Refrain from adding or contacting other members privately for unrelated business or promotional purposes. Once a student has completed, withdrawn from, or been removed from a course, access to all academy communication and support groups will be revoked immediately. This includes removal from WhatsApp, Telegram, or similar platforms. This action is taken to: Protect the privacy and data of current students and staff. Maintain a positive, safe, and professional learning environment. Prevent disruption or misuse of academy communication channels. Any misuse of communication platforms, harassment, or unprofessional conduct within these groups will be treated as a breach of the Code of Conduct and may result in disciplinary action, including removal from the course without refund. 10. Breach of Conduct Failure to adhere to this Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action, which may include but not be limited to: Verbal or written warning Temporary suspension from training Permanent withdrawal from the course without refund Refusal of future enrolments Serious misconduct, including abusive language, harassment, threats, or behaviour endangering others, will result in immediate termination of training and removal from the premises. 11. Refunds and Termination If a student is withdrawn from a course due to misconduct or breach of this Code, they will not be entitled to a refund for training already received or materials provided. Any remaining course balance may be withheld at the Academy’s discretion to cover administrative and resource costs. 12. Acceptance of Terms By enrolling in any Cavendish Aesthetics Academy course, the student agrees to: Abide by this Code of Conduct and the Academy’s Terms and Conditions. Treat all staff, students, and clients with professionalism and respect. Uphold the reputation, safety, and integrity of Cavendish Aesthetics Academy.
