Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)  is a versatile skin rejuvenation treatment aimed at improving varying problem areas on the face and body such and improving dark eye circles, ageing skin, skin tone, hair loss, collagen and skin elasticity loss.

The patients own blood is used for the treatments and functionality can be enhanced with the used of certain activators and, because you will be using the patients own blood there are minimal risks of complications to your client

10 Hours of home study with 7 hours of practical hands on training at the Academy.

This course has been independently assessed & accredited by The CPD Group ensuring accuracy of information and a high level of training for which successful candidates will receive their certificate on the final day. This course is insurable with Insync Insurance

Course Format

At home

• Approximately 10 hours of academic home study

​

At the Academy

• Observational Learning with new Power Point presentation
• Tutor demonstrations & explanation at the Academy
• Practical Workshops with models

  (Please note, to reduce stress for you we will provide all models for you for all practical

   session)
• Hands on learning with the guidance and support of your Master Tutor.

• Final end of day assessment

  • Procedure specific Health & Safety

  • Indications, Contraindications and Contra-actions for treatment

  • Patient assessment and consultation procedures

  • The relevant benefits of the treatment and possible side effects

  • An overview of the different types of procedures & techniques such as the Vampire Facial, Hair loss Treatments and treatment of dark eye circles.

  • Selection of the correct products & equipment for the desired outcome

  • Pain management

  • Pre and post procedural care for your clients

 

Upon successfully completing your training you will receive your CPD Accredited Certificate and will receive full support for as long as you need through mobile phone, WhatsApp or direct support at the Academy.

Prerequisites (Requirements to Study)

Applying students must be in possession of one of the following

​​

  • Level 3 Beauty Therapy

  • Doctor, Nurse, Dental Nurse, Pharmacist, Paramedic

  • SPMU practitioner with 12 months experience

  • SPMU practitioner with 6 months experience & Anatomy & Physiology Level 3
